In Colorado’s worst-performing school district, 87% of children can’t read at grade level. Evidence points to the Board’s focus lying elsewhere than improving their performance as an educational entity — such as shutting down critics. At the center of the controversy is Adams 14 Director Lucy Molina. She is no stranger to making racial taunts and exaggerated claims about her position. She, and the Board, are being sued in federal court for race & sex discrimination against a whistleblower.
